The AB 1734-OB4E comes in a modular design which selects the I/O, terminal style, and network interface. It offers digital and analog selections and it can mount horizontally or vertically without de-rating. The module has up to 8 single-ended inputs and outputs and these come in thermocouple and RTD modules available with individually configurable channels. It has onboard scaling and a choice of input filters. The 1734-OB4E has 4 current sourcing, electronically protected, and enhanced sourcing outputs. The 1734-OB4E has a conducted radio frequency of 10Vrms with 1kHz sine-wave 80% AM from 80 to 150 MHz. It has a wire size of 2.5millimeters-0.34millimeters squared solid or stranded copper wire rated at 75 degrees Celsius or greater with 1.2-millimeter insulation maximum. The model's dimensions in inches are 2.21 x 0.47 x 2.97 inches and it has an ESD immunity of 6 kV contact discharges and 8 kV air discharges. Its indicators are 4 yellow output statuses, 4 red output fault indicators, and 2 green/red module network status indicators.
