Product Details

1.The IC200CMM020 functions as Modbus RTU Master in a Versamax I/O station controlled

by a Genius Network Interface Unit.

2.Serial communication modules such as the IC200CMM020 can be installed at any location

in the I/O station. Each I/O station may serve up to two serial communication modules.

3.There is roughly 100mA of power that is accessible for external devices. This may vary

depending on how the serial device is wired.

4.The current draw relies on serial line terminations, duplex mode, serial line activity, and the use

of external adapters that may need an extra 5V power.

5.The maximum load amount is 200mA; an internal current limit switch stops damage and locks

down communication and external power flow as needed. Once the module’s LED turns amber,

the overdraw conditions must be recognized by the user, and when the condition is resolved,

communication and power flow will resume.
